Hi Yana and welcome, I really am so sorry you faced this at such a young age and while BC is tough for all of us I'm sure it must have been that bit harder for you being so young. I'm not sure there are many ladies here who had a pregnancy after bc but hope someone can chime in to help you, I know many find it difficult to get pregnant after these treatments and of course being hormone positive may put you at higher risk of a recurrance if you get pregnant, what does your Dr say?? However I have read of other women who did go on to have successful pregnancie's and were fine afterwards too and really do wish you well and hope this happens for you:)

Hi Yana, I am 30 and almost 3 years out from my cancer diagnosis. I also had 8 rounds of chemo (CE + Taxotere), plus a lumpectomy, 36 rounds of radiation and a year of Herceptin. My husband and I were able to get pregnant naturally (I took Lupron during treatment, so my cycle stopped. I became pregnant a little less than a year after my period returned) and we had a healthy baby boy in June. There are many women who are able to get pregnant after breast cancer, and even more who become moms through surrogacy and adoption. Do not lose hope...just talk it over with your doctor and know that you aren't alone. (Not sure if you have ever checked www.youngsurvival.org, but they have a great message board for young survivors who have fertility concerns post-treatment. Hope 2012 is joyful for you and your husband!
27 year old newlywed Diagnosed 2/2/09 Stage IIA, HER2N + Lumpectomy (with Clean Margins and 0 lymph node involvement) on 2/4/09 Underwent IVF Harvesting on 3/12/09, 6 embryos frozen 4 Treatments of CE (finished 4/28/09) 4 Treatments of Taxotere (finished 6/23/09) 1 Year of Herceptin (began 5/12/09)
