Pat:  This is a wonderful poem.  As I read it, it made me think of my father who passed away a year and a half ago.

Tricia:  I too will be thinking of you as you say farewell to your friend.

Rena: Enjoy your time with your kids.

Elaine:  Where do you find the energy?  Sounds like a wonderful time was had by all.

I cry all the time. I cry alone. I never cry in front of others so that they think Im strong. I have to joke about it so that I dont cry.  Im glad I found yall.

Watching my 15 year old polish my 3 year old's nails made me smile today. That.....and I found yall.

Shelly, welcome! I'm sorry that you feel so sad. It's understandable--I read your post about the excruciating pain from the expanders. Being in so much pain can really wear you down. I hope that your ps has a solution for you. I also think that crying is just normal, to an extent at least. We have a lot of emotions to release after we go through having cancer. But if you find that you can't stop crying, it would be a good idea to talk to your doctor about it. Sometimes, a short course of antidepressants can help a lot or talking to a good therapist. Wishing you well.

Shelly,
I read your post about having pain from expanders.  I have not had this type of surgery, but I urge you to demand that this be addressed by your ps.
Being in continuous pain can be depressing in itself, and can hamper your physical and emotional recovery.
Wishing better days ahead for you

Sharon,
Wow, I was just thinking of you yesterday, and here you are!!!  Hope you and your hubby, (and pets), are well and healthy   and especially your Dad are healing after your Mum's passing.

Thanks for letting us know about Tricia...good to know she's not just ignoring us, lol

Sharon, that was Spooky, just heard y'day from Tricia, through a really crap and broken line on her Mobile. I heard she wanted to send me a million dollars. Believe me she is tearing her hair out.   I have another Dog, that make 4 arggh with the Birds that makes 6,  I can handle it (or strangle them).  It was Mums 1st birthday in Heaven and I bet you any money you like, she's having a right good knees up.

Thanks for asking Sharon, you are a Star:) x

Sharon, thanks for the heads-up about Tricia. I feel so bad for her. Hard to be cut off from the world like that. Sharon, you sound good, and I'm glad that you have all the doggies to keep you so busy and happy. They're such cute little guys.

Sharonma, how has Tex's training gone? Does he have you sitting up and rolling over yet?

Pat, how are you feeling?

Elaine, Tina, Julie, Rose, and anyone I've forgotten--I hope everyone is doing well.

Shelly, I hope that you've had a chance to consult with your ps about the pain. Let us know how that goes.

Having a great visit with Karen and Tyler. She's so happy to be home with us and to see her friends and, of course, be with Tyler. Future is still up in the air--whether she'll come home in September or the following March.

Phoebe is in love with Tyler. She kept pawing the bedroom door early this morning and meowing to get in. I had to lock her in the living room. She's such a little floozy.

Love to all.
