Enjoy the trip Sharon....I will be there in spirit.   Wish I could take a trip anywhere right now.
Laughing so hard about the thought of a BITE ME tatoo.   That is my favorite saying.  Even said it to one of my kids teachers years ago.
Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.

Elaine - mostly we got those dreaded "feeder bands", but there was a huge water spout off Indian Rocks Beach yesterday which is about 20 min south of us.  Thank you...I hope that having two named storms in May isn't a bad sign of what's in store for us this hurricane season.  Six feet above sea level I am.....oh, and there is a PATTY in the names this year.  My mom used to call me that sometimes, tho she spelled it with an i.  It was Patricia when she was mad and Patti when she wasn't:-)

Annette, I stil say BITE ME but only to certain people....LOL...I think its a great idea and I am always up for another tattoo!!!

Finally recovered from our trip to Texas and seeing the grand kids...there is a reason it is young people that have little kids....those 4 really keep things hopping! Funny, busy, push, fight, typical 2 year olds. They taught them not to hit each other to get a toy (works sometimes!) so they now bulldoze each other and scream, sometimes you can distract them with another toy but not always. 4 windows, 4 kids, seems simple right...nope all want to stand at the same window, so you move one and the rest crowd in and try to see out the same window. One of the most special places we went was "Morgan's wonderland." It is a park for kids with handicaps. Cars to drive, train to ride, merry go round, fishing, water sprays, giant sandbox, swings, all made wheel chair accessible!! It was so very clean and an engineering marvel as to how they designed all these rides for kids in wheel chairs. Any of you that get to San Antonio with kids must go there! It is designed so that "regular" kids and handicap kids can ride on the same rides and is run by mostly volunteers. One of the men recognized my grandson from when he had been there before, have to admit he is a cutie, with round blue glasses and a smile just like his dad's! Had a wonderful time with the grands!

Welcome back Julie and its obvious you've had a wonderful time with those little Grandies, the park sounds wonderful and we've nothing like that here but its a great idea for breaking down any barrier's between children that have a handicap!Pals

Julie - that sounds wonderful...good to go and see them and good to get home for a much needed rest!  Do you notice that you have less stamina?  That is one of my major issues....

Julie,
Sounds like such a blast with the grandwonderfuls!!!  Love that they could enjoy the park together!!

My joy of course was spending a week in paradise with hubby and 2 of my children.  Beached, ate, snrokled, fished(puking the whole time), and enjoyed the natural beauty of SBH
