If this is a right or wrong thing here, why is it right to help an adult stay alive? If you believe in taking care of a baby before it is born (and I do, as I do not agree with abortion), why not take care of the person after they are born? I am just curious to hear an education, rational take on this. I love my children dearly, and I was adopted (grateful my mom chose life). But I 100% disagree with SGK and won't support them any longer.

I agree with the above.  I've participated in and contributed to a number of SGK events/appeals in the past, but no more, at least until this dreadful decision is reversed.  

I'm baffled by the decision to remove crucial funding from PP. SKG has to know that many will interpret this as political cowardice; I know that I can't in good conscience continue to support an organization that is participating in the health disenfranchisement of millions of women, especially in these economic hard times. I'm praying that SKG changes its mind and realizes that this decision must be reversed as soon as possible.

I joined the message boards only to express my disgust at Komen's disgraceful decision not to fund Planned Parenthood.  I have taken the pink ribbon off my car and will not ever donate a cent again to Komen.  Putting right wing politics before women's health is disgraceful and the women of America will not tolerate it.

I am withdrawing my support for Komen until they reverse their decision to 'unfund' Planned Parenthood. Please reverse your decision.

I, too, am withdrawing any support for this organization and instead will donate directly to Planned Parenthood. This disgraceful display of hatred for the less fortunate makes me sick to my stomach. As I have said elsewhere, Susan must be rolling around in her grave in disgust at this decision. You people are a direct and blaring example of everything that is wrong in this country today. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I will not give another penny to Koman or support any friends who walk b/c of this terrible decision. This is ALL politics and Koman should be ashamed!  I am a 13 year survivor and am disgusted. I hope the masses refuse to donate/support Koman!

I totally again with SGK. 

The money from SGK did not fund abortions, it funded mammograms for women of low income. I cannot believe this foundation would abandon its mission in the name of politics. My donations will now be going to Planned Parenthood, where they still care about improving women's health. This is pathetic.
