I signed up for this forum specifically so that I could express my disappointment to SGK over your pulled funding from Planned Parenthood. Both my husband and daughter work as Radiation Therapists at different hospitals. I can tell you that they and their co-workers, who have run in the local SGK marathons and supported your policies previously will not do so again. Shame, shame, shame.

It is with sadness that I inform you that I will no longer be able to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure. While I understand that pro-life pressure is very real, I cannot accept that you let that lead to you put politics ahead of women's health. SCREENINGS are unrelated to abortions. My work and my money will go elsewhere. I hope that you will reconsider your decision and recognize that you are to stand for - not against - women.

Not only will I never donate to Komen again, I will write to all the companies sporting the "Pink" logo and tell them that I will no longer buy their products as long as they are affiliated with SGK. You have shown yourselves to be frauds, pretending to care for women's health. I will happily now donate to Planned Parenthood.

It's hard to believe that the Komen foundation bowed to right-wing pressure and pulled its funding of Planned Parenthood. As a result, many women, including many women without financial means, will not have access to preventive screening. It's a sad day for hope.

Komen's decision on pulling funding from Planned Parenthood is disgusting and shameful. To cave in to the crazy religious fringe, the crazy republican fringe is unacceptable.  These people expect women to bow down to society, stay at home, pump out kids, and take care of their man.  The crazy fringe blames women for rape and incest.  The are so backwards I am at a loss for words that you bent over for them.  They are the few rotten apples. 
As a Father of a daughter and husband to a loving wife, we are going on a personal campaign against Komen and will be proactive for Planned Parenthood.  Prior to posting this message, I first donated money to Planned Parenthood. 
How can you call yourself a progressive women’s organization when you just dumped on your constituents.  I hope more and more people drop Komen and donate directly to Planned Parenthood, and speak out against Komen as a weak organization.  I will raise my daughter to be a strong woman and use Komen as an example of what weakness is and what not to do in the face of pressure.  You should have stood firm.  Komen…YOU ARE PATHETIC FOR THIS ACTION WE NEED PLANNED PARENTHOOD.

I am very disappointed in an organization that has worked so hard to save women's lives to now put millions of women and children in jeopardy.  VP, I am from Georgia and you do not represent my values at all.  Please reconsider and support another organization that really puts women and families first. 

 I'm just here to tell you that my daughter's cancer was discovered by Planned Parenthood. My daughter has been organizing events at lingerie boutiques in Portland, OR to benefit your organization. NO MORE! No woman I know will walk one more mile for you. No woman I know will donate one more cent to you. No woman I know will buy one more pink ribbon. And my daughter is adjusting her effort to support Planned Parenthood in direct protest.
 I don't know why you seemed to have lost your collective mind, but I suggest you reverse your position or prepare to be: The charity formerly known as Pro-Women.
