When "condemning" sugar I think that means "refined" suger. You know, the white stuff. The sugar in milk is not refined. I think anything that ends with "ose" or "ase" indicates sugar. Whatever. At my age the damage, if any, has already been done.  Every day there is a new warning about some activity we all have engaged in for our entire lives. I get really tired of those ("hucksters", "hustlers") trying so desparately to get our attention in order to sell us something.
 
Crying wolf over every thing is a real problem. Who listens anymore?

Nancy, Thanks for the help on the thyroid bx. Even the ultrasound upset me a bit, laying there like I was a chicken ready to get my neck chopped. Crazy I know... I don't drink that much but oh that sugar!!!! I do have a sweet tooth! Although not into dairy....have to check out the sugar in the almond, rice and soy milk (I know there is a controversy about us using it.) It does seem like they can't decide on some of this stuff. Even the Vitamin D levels are up for grabs. My PCP thinks mine is still just a bit low, the endocrinologist thinks mine is fine but my onc thinks it is way to low! Going with my onc on this one. It is Friday....should be able to have a glass of wine...right?
