Swap surgery would be to exchange the expander for the final implants

Lumpectomy 2/27 results DCIS/LCIS Stage 0 ER+ PR+
Bi-lateral Mastectomy 4/26 with expanders
6/3 Surgery to remove contaminated expander due to infection.
7/22/11 Surgery to reinsert the expander.
10/11/2011 Surgery to replace tissue expanders with implants.

Ahhh, now I get it!! Still fairly new to all of this!!
But no...this is my first surgery. Bilateral mastectomy with expanders. 7:30 Monday morning.
Been a long haul, but I am soooooo ready to get this over with!

Tina, I hate hearing you have to have another surgery but am hoping they get you "straightened out." You have definitely had some twists in the road, but continue to encourage others and serve as a mentor/role model.
Charlie, I hope your surgery went well and look forward to a good report.

Okay I'm up and trying to remember no eating, no drinking today. Surgery in 4 1/2 hours. At least it isn't raining today. I guess that's a plus.
