Hi!

I haven't done reconstruciton, but I hear that Victorias Secret's IPEX bra works really well for women with reconstructed breasts.

Hi,

I had to go to Victoria's Secret. I had a problem finding one myself so I gave it a try. The women there are trained for this. They measured me and I was surprised by the size that I ended up being. I assumed I would be the same size that I used to be because I didn't have expanders. I had the permanent implants put in the day of the surgery. I used to be a 34 A, but now I'm a 34C. I don't look that much larger but the new bras fit really well. Even if you don't go there, I would highly recommend going somewhere that the staff is trained in measuring you for a correct fit.

Hi.
My ps told me I couldn't wear underwires anymore.  I found the Friday's bra by Warner's fits really well and is totally comfortable.  Fits better than any bra I ever had before my mast.  Macy's sells them, and they're not expensive.

I had my expander replaced with an implant on December  2nd. I had problems with my incision healing and developed a dark area in the incision. I just had my incision revised. My plastic surgeon thinks the dark area was caused by the weight of the implant which is a 700 cc implant pulling on the incision. Since the implant surgery I have worn a bra 24/7. After the revision of my incision my plastic wants me to wear a bra that "pushes or lifts up". The only thing I have found that fits this bill are bras from Victorias with underwires, sports bras and a few other underwires from Bali that I wear at night.
Litchfield Park, AZ. Diagnosed with DCIS ER+ left breast May 2008. Had lumpectomy & sentinel node biopsy on July 9th. No lymph node involvement.  Reexcision on July 22. More DCIS found . Had mastectomy with tissue expander Aug 2008. Replacement of expander with implant December 2008.
