Happy Thursday ladies !!

Just have to get you caught up. Easter weekend was fantabulous !! Thurs evening hubby towed the travel trailer down to the fairgrounds where the show was going to be. Got set up with one of my girlfriends and had the awnings together. We took x-pens and created a "yard" between the 2 travel trailers and then set up some individual pens for the dogs. It looked great !! Friday I spent the day from 8am until midnight parking motorhomes for the show dog folks.
Saturday was the big day and Colt made his show debut !! I did not know what to expect since he is such a silly puppy in class. OMG he was amazing and he behaved and showed like a champion !! We ended up winning winners dog for his first AKC Champion point. Sat night there was a Collie fun match and I entered Colt in the "misc" class for all other breeds. We ended up winning Best in Match ! Sunday we went in the ring again and he went winners dog for another point and then he ended up getting Best of Breed !!  Over 2 champion corgis (one of them his own mother). I was just over the top, what a weekend. So now the pup has 2 points, not sure what shows we are going to next. I gotta recoup from this one !!

It sounds like you gals had a nice Easter as well.

Back to work. (loving my new job, a bit stressfull but it is all good)

Thanks  girls.  I am so looking forward to them coming. I haven't seen them in person, for a year!!!  I know I have to start learning more French!  but think my granddaughter will pick up on more English while here.  I figure she will teach me French eventually also!! 
    Have to work tomorrow and then going to a wedding.  ONe of the neighbor girls is getting married that my  son grew up with.  I haven;t been to a wedding in a while.  Should be fun for a few hours.

HAPPY ORTHODOX EASTER!

I'm going down to San Diego for midnight mass and to the church picnic tomorrow with my BFGF.  I love Easter -- my favorite service is tonight.  I don't go to church regularly, but Easter mass is special.  At midnight everyone lights the candle they bought on their way in, and sings "Christ has Risen."  It's one of those  moments when everyone comes together and that always feels so good.

Wow so much is happening this week with you all and with no laptop I've been unable to get on as much as usual, I borrowed a computer from a neighbour until I get one in a couple of weeks but its taking me fiteen minutes to reply to one post and five minutes to load a page!!!
 
Anyway just wanted to say Rose and Rena I'm so happy for you both that you'll have your girls home for a visit and hope your SIL does'nt cause hassle this time Rose and good thinking on Tammy's pressie Rena!:)

Vacation in a couple of days!  Starting to worry a little about airport screening.  I have implants and I don't know if I need to say anything or not to the screener at the airport.  I am nervous.  This is the first time since my surgery last year.

Grace, Congratulations on your puppy's performance!! Hoping your arthritis is better! Elaine, your mass sounds beautiful! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Tricia, Takes tons of patience to wait for those pages to load.....just be greatful we are not still having to put the DOS disk in! Is the kitty having to donate fur to pay for the new computer???
