Morning ladies! Sharon sending good thoughts and prayers for great reports!!! Mary so glad Don is able to have quality time with you and Snowball and so sad he has to endure pain all the time!!! Just a thought, my sissy-in-law has fought liver cancer for 9years now and has poor kidney function. In order to manage her pain, they put a port into her spinal column and feed her some kind of pain through it. She goes to a pain manager. They explained to her by doing this, the meds don't have to filter through her liver or kidneys? Dunno, just a thought! Jean praying that they get to the bottom of your weight loss hon!!!! Stay strong! {{hugs}}

Susie, Thank you for your kind comment.  Don has kidney stones and one is stuck in his kidney.  He will be having surgery to remove the stone in his kidney March 12th.  The others they are hoping he will pass.  He is a "rock machine".  He is really doing pretty well considering all he has going on.  I am trying to feed him "healthy but with all his health issues....it is almost impossible to do.  We are getting through this and I think he will be ok once this stone is out.

How are you doing Susie?  I really have not been on Komen very much lately.  I was so tired after Don's 10 day hospital stay. It was exhausting.  Then when he came home he had some problems that we had to take care of.  All is calm right now and my kitty Snowball is napping with him on the sofa.  So cute!  Hugs,  Mary    Pals

Hi Mary, I'd usually agree with Sharons post as most onc's dont do this amount of scans without good reason ie..pain or symtoms of recurrance.  However I'm guessing in your case of IBC and Her2+ your onc is being super careful to monitor you closely.
I'm sorry Don is still in pain and its been a stressful time for you both but do hope things improve once this stone is removed!Pals

Sharon, 'Nanners and a banana split are on hold for you both as I type!!

Susie good to see you back posting and hoping you're doing well

Hold me back Girls! I'm getting really irritated with one of the people posting on Hot Topics!!!

He / she had the nerve to ask me what I paid to join the club! I filled them in...

I need to stop reading that crap, ruins my calm.

So, How are y'all doing? Pals

waiting impatiently for my B9 breast mri results.

Anna, don't waste your time with the subhuman life forms on the hot topic forum.  it really is not worth it . most of them have moved on to "greener pastures" but there are still a few hanging on, gnashing their teeth and spewing venom on anyone who happens by.

Anna--I too have seen some of the comments and can't believe the small mindedness of it all.  As long as they have a soap box and an audience they will keep on.
