Kristin, You have every right to be here. Most of the posters here are survivors, but we welcome anyone who has been touched by this disease in any way. I am sorry for the loss of Jules--one more angel fighting from above. Joyce

Kirsten, maybe check out the Komen 3 day 60 mile walk. Not only might you represent your friends memory by walking for the cause you may find what you get in return is life changing. I walked 9 years ago. Long before my own diagnosis. It is the single most important thing I've ever done. Then 2 years ago my daughters walked for me after my diagnosis. I saw the walk from a whole new perspective while sitting on the sidelines cheering them on as well as the masses of other women that walked. I was midst my treatment at that time but it empowered me to see so many walking for a common cause. I will never forget these two events and the power that comes when people ban together for a common cause!!

Kristen, You are a great friend and I am so glad you were there with Jules as she left us and went on a new journey. While as tragic as it is to lose a loved one, it is a gift to be able to be with them as they pass to a world with no cancer and no pain. Thank you for coming to our forum and sharing with us. Grace

Kristen. I am so sorry for your loss. Jules was blessed to have such a friend stand by her side. My sister is stage 4 and has bone mets. To be the ones on the other side is so difficult. I wish people understood our feelings of weakness, sadness, anger, pain of having to see the women in our lives fight a battle we have no contol in. My sister and I just completed a 5k. SURE we were last but we finished! Jules is surely a beautiful angel watching over you and will be there to welcome you one day! Keep your head up!!! If I could find someone to do the 3 day walk with me I would do it!!!!

Kristen -- you will probably never know how much Jules appreciated you and loved you. God bless you for being with her through her entire journey. You exemplify a true friend and "sister".

Kristen, For you to offer prayers, cheer and support in our fight gives you every reason to come and stay awhile. For myself, it is the bravo-es, well dones and good wishes that makes me run for the finish line. Please stay.
