Sharonma - Pat's right!  I forgot to say that I got trade-in bucks for my HTC Evo from Sprint, when I switched to the IPhone ($90).

I just upgraded to this phone about 2 months ago.  they give a 2 week trial to trade it in, but that has passed.  i'm hoping to get to the verizon store in the next few days to see what I can do.

Sharonma - I owned the HTC for over a year and they offered me the $90.

Sharon,
I just tried also.  I have an Android Electrify and can log in but won't give me the internal keyboard to respond also.  So hope Komen has an answer.  I have US Cellular so will ask them when I can also.  I thought when first signing in I came up with a site that stated it would take 48 hours for them to check to make sure you would have access as a normal member but then I got to the next screen, which I could click on the message board and sign in.  ???? Do they notify us once ok or has it been over 48 hours since you tried?  Hope they let Trisha know.  (Oh, had to go to my regular computer- I don't have a laptop yet) to post this.   OH~~  the message above this one from me, was from my smart phone but as you see, it let me send but did not give me my keyboard to type any message.

exactly the problem I'm having Rose.
if i'm home it's not a problem, b/c i would use my computer.
i especially like to respond promptly when I get a request for the drain pouches, so it is frustrating.
my old phone had the slide out keyboard, and although it wasn't great, i could type a response.
i was thinking it was the phone...not Komen?

Hi Ladies and sorry I dont have any more news on this as still waiting for Komen to get back to me, I think we'll just have to be patient but agree Sharon its frustrating as I often miss some spam here when away from my computer!!

Elaine I have a HTC Desire and like it, just curious if you prefer the Iphone to a HTC and which you find most user friendly???

Hi Tricia -

I originally went with the HTC Evo because I couldn't afford the IPhone and AT&T's monthly fee.  Once Sprint started selilng them, I found that I could get the IPhone w/my HTC plan which is unlimited everything for $80 a month.  I couldn't wait to have an IPhone -- everything about it feels easier, more responsive, the camera is better etc.  I didn't dislike the HTC, but "it wasn't an IPhone."

I read recently that the psychologically odd fact is that people who own Apple products are emotionally attached to them, where this is not true of other brands.  One hears people (and myself) say "I love my IPhone" or "I love my IPad"; you don't hear anyone saying "I love my Dell PC".

Good point Elaine and I'm due an upgrade in the coming months and was'nt sure if an Iphone was as user friendly as my HTC which was my first smart phone so still getting used to it now.  My daughters thought it was so funny before I got it as could'nt think of the name (chemo brain struck again) and I was calling it a Clever phone lol...
