I can understand how you feel Linda but there's really no way of knowing if chemo would have made a difference in Pam's case.  I've met some wonderful ladies here who did choose an aggressive treatment and yet had a good prognosis but sadly have lost their lives too, no one knows why some of us survive and others don't and its possible whatever treatment Pammy chose the outcome may have been the same sadly.  I hope the fact that she's out of pain and not suffering anymore will bring you some comfort in time and come here anytime for a chat as we do have a friends and family forum.

Lin I am also sorry about your sil. I had a nearly identical diagnosis as Pam (ILC, 3 cm) but my onc in no way would have let me bypass chemo. I am sure if he had been less insistent I would have gladly skipped it too. Today I credit my doctor for saving my life, because if it had been up to me alone, I doubt I would still be here.
