Hi Debbie and welcome, I'm sorry you have added stress with this and if you google Facing your risk a good informative site should come up with lots of info to help you. I know a few ladies here who tested positive but are doing well years later, I was'nt tested myself and just had an ooph for preventative measure's but it was an easy op and recovery was fast but I'm sure removing the uterus will add to the recovery time. Sending good wishes and please keep us posted!:)

Hello, My nam is Marie and I joined this forum as I am having a biopsy done today after my mammogram and ultrasound showed an area of concern. The radiologist contacted my family doctor who told me that it didn't look good on the ultrasound so I have so much anxiety and fear of what is to come.

Hi everyone, I'm an italian just registered member. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2003, stage 2B, HER2+. I underwent surgery (quadrantectomy) at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, my surgeon was Paolo Veronesi. After Chemo and radio, I had hormonal therapy (Tamoxifen+zoladex), and I was enrolled in a clincal trial (the HERA study), so I was given Herceptin every 15 days for 2 years. Until last years I was still on tamoxifen and zoladex, then I stopped Zoladex. And, fortunately, cancer did not come back. After one year of zoladex withdrawal, I realized I'm still pre-menopausal, so I was suggested to keep going with Tamoxifen only. Does it sound right or is this an overtreatment? I'm so used to take my medication (tamoxifen), and I tolerate it very well, that it would be strange for me to stop...and live everything without control.

Ho Rosmelil. I'm sorry that no one has responded yet. It sometimes takes a while for people to see the posts. I'm afraid I can't be helpful as I've never taken any of the medications you're concerned about. I hope that someone with experience will reply soon. Take care.

Hi Rosmelil: Welcome to the site. I am sorry that I can't answer your question as I did not take any of the meds. I know that there are others on here that have taken it and someone should be along soon that can answer your question. Take care.
