Annette, I guess we can just hope the partners our children choose will treat them with love, respect, and be a positive foce in their lives. Maybe it's not such a bad idea that parents be able to choose their children's spouses? Tricia, LOVE, love that word b9!!!! Remember you did have "a procedure" and must rest with your feet up and an umbrella drink! Rena, It's unbelievable that you must ask to be paid for work already completed. grrrr You can tell her that you are swamped with paying clients and couldn't possible get to her any time soon. Then hand her the invoice! Pat, I understand about the RFL. I'm coming up on 4 years, and have found myself shying away from the survivor hoopla. Not sure why that is either. I'm joyful that I'm starting an antithyroid med today that my endocrinologist says will make me feel like a new person. My symptoms (and bw)are out of control, so no more watch and wait ! And he agreed with me that my cardiac symptoms are thryoid related and the cardio consult is not necessary. I love when the real doctor agrees with the play doctor(me)!

My joy today??? Once again finding somewhere with women that understand the depression and fear that comes with this disease. No matter how I try to run away and pretend "it" didn't happen I find myself returning to those that understand. Hope and strength,

My daily diary of joy would be if I could just win a portion of the Mega Millions lottery tonight! Not the whole thing (I'm not greedy!) but just a portion. At my rate if I did I'd probably be like the guy at the end of National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation who hit the Keno jackpot and croaked!

Tina~ Were you one of the 3???? My hairdresser and I discussed some of our ideas of what we would do and how we could not fathom winning that much in the first place. But I wouldn't mind winning enough to make life easier!!! Rose

Tricia & Rose: Someone from Illinois was one of the winners but it wasn't me. I did win a whopping $9.00 from all the tickets we bought. Starting the retirement fund with it. lol. If I had won a great deal more than that, yep drinks would have been on me. Oh well wishful thinking. Hope you ladies have a wonderful day. Today is raining, cold and gloomy. Went from 70's & 80's last week to 30 & 40's this week. Trying not to get sick from it. Vacation in 15 days.

My husband the economist, Mr. Logical, is always saying how silly it is to buy lottery tickets because of the odds, etc. So imagine my surprise when he came home with a dozen lottery tickets the other night! I couldn't believe it. He explained why the odds were significantly better with this particular one, but damned if I can remember why. Well, it wasn't our night. Somehow, I was not surprised.

I know what you mean, Tricia. I used to by a scratcher now and then. I think I won a few dollars one time. It's my mini-version of going to Vegas (VERY mini!).
