Hello to all of you friends. We will be receiving a call from the hospital between 1 and 4 this afternoon about what time to bring Don in. He is very nervous about this but I just want to get this over. He has to eat lightly today and nothing after midnight. Thank you all for the well wishes. It's almost unbelievable that so many things are going on. Snowball seems very happy today so far. He is napping with his Daddy. Hugs, Mary
Diag. Oct 2003 with 6mm mass, IDC grade III ductal carcinoma in-situ, Inflammatory Breast Cancer stage IIIB, Her2+++. Mary most of us would be nervous before any surgery but if this resolves Don's pain it'll be worth it for all of you. I'm glad Snowball seems okay today too and will be thinking of you and Don tomorrow

Hello to all of you wonderful ladies, I am so happy to be home and I was able to bring Don home. He was there for over 12 hours and his Urologist came in to check him and said "do you want to bring this guy home" and I just had to laugh! He actually had two very large stones that were blocking his kidney. They were able to remove them. They are hoping that his kidney function will be better now that these stones are removed. He had to be at the hospital by 7Am and we just arrived home a little while ago. He had a light snack at the hospital and when we got home he fell asleep with Snowball on his lap. I am sooo tired but I am going to have to make him something to eat when he wakes up. We are so lucky that this just had to be at "Spring forward time". I have been up since 5AM my old time. When we were leaving this morning, Snowball was just sitting there looking at us and I could just imagine what he was thinking "not again". Poor baby! They had all of Don's clothes in a big paper bag with handles and I brought it home for Snowball. He loves his new house. He will destroy it tomorrow. He has been eating fairly well but not as much as usual. I really think that he knows that there is stress in his home and he is reacting to it. I hope that maybe Don can be pain free and feel well as I am really tired. I am glad that this is over for now. Thank you all for your support. Lots of hugs, Mary

Mary, that's such great news!!! I'm so glad that Don is home and that they got rid of those nasty stones. I hope that his pain will be gone and his kidney function much better. In the meantime, please give him my very best wishes, a chin nuzzle for Snowball, and a big hug to you. xo
