Today's the day: I am a FIVE year survivor!!!!
-
Tuesday, January 10, 2012 5:46 AM
Five years ago today, diagnosed with Stage III cancer, 10 cm mass, had all kinds of treatment and a clinical trial. Couldn't have made it through without the wonderful support of my husband and sons, coworkers, students, friends and family and of course, my new family here on the Komen boards. You girls rock!!!! You have offered me support, love, information, advice, funny jokes and stories, inspiration and friendship. I have been lucky to meet in person and get to know my New England Komen Sisters: Caroline, Betsy, NormaJean, Shirley, KathyAnn and Gail. I try to pay it forward by posting here when I can, and I always suggest this site whenever I can to ladies who have been diagnosed. Thanks for everything!!! take care, Cindy D.
