Hang in there--like Tricia said, the waiting is the worst! We've all been there. When I first went to the doctor after I found my lump, they couldn't get me in for a mammogram for 10 days. (Later I learned I should have been more adamant they get me in earlier--the squeaky wheel does get fixed!) Then, just as I was getting out of my car at the hospital for the mammogram appointment, they called me to tell me that their machine was broken and it would be another week! The waiting was awful! But I decided both times that I was going to do something constructive while I was waiting. I can assure me my house has never been cleaner. So keep busy, go out for a walk if you can and remember to breathe....****** Hopefully, this will turn out to be nothing. I agree with the others.  Waiting does suck!  Your mind wanders of all the things that it could be or worse case scenarios.  Try to stay busy and keep your mind on all things if at all possible.  Worrying will drain you so badly that it will make the waiting worse.  
Please don't take this the wrong way, but I am hoping that you will not need to join our club.  I am wishing good thoughts for a good report when your testing does happen.  As Joyce said if this isn't nothing at all, we will be here for you with gentle hugs, along with shoulders to lean on and ears to listen.

I am glad I came to this site. I think all of you ladies are so nice. I'm trying to stay busy and not think about it. The thought of it is always lurking in the back of my mind. I am trying to think postitive but also trying to prepare myself if it does turn out to be cancer.

Thinking about you, sengle. So sorry you have to wait. Still hoping for good news for you. I'm just glad that you saw your doctor. Take care and stay busy--treat yourself to something fun. All my best.

Well I go tomorrow for my mammo and ultra sound. I am ready to find out so I can deal with this. I am hoping for the best. They said I should know tomorrow. So hopefully the wait will be over. I will let everyone know tomorrow.

Well great news. I had my mammogram and ultra sound. The radiologist said that some thickening and to watch very close. So I feel good about it right now. He said it could be the start of something that's why we are going to watch it. Thanks so much for listening to me. I think everybody is awesome on this site.
