Alterative Treatments to Chemotherapy? - Thursday, February 05, 2015 10:32 PM
I'm choosing not to do chemotherapy. I'd be interested in finding anyone who has gone this route.

Pattcat one of our members chose the same and had vit c infusions instead, however she sadly had a recurrance in the form of bone mets a few years later and is now doing well but on and off chemo depending on how she responds. I do wish you well with your decision but I honestly feel while chemo is not ideal, its the best we have right now at ensuring this disease is gone for good. If your Dr thinks you need it maybe consider your options again, perhaps for others who love you if not for yourself but my best wishes to you.

You have not provided any information regarding the Stage, Grade, lymph node involvement or size of your tumor. Therefore, it is impossible to comment one way or the other. Have you gotten your pathology report? That pretty much is a determiner or how to proceed.***********Over the years people have written to suggest that they have chosen an "alternative" remedy. Some have described treatment that was clearly recommended by a charlatan. I am hoping that one of these days we will hear from one of them letting us know how they are and if they still "are".
