IBC after double mastectomy? - Friday, April 27, 2018 7:09 PM
I had a bilateral mastectomy 4 years ago for Invasive Lobular Cancer Stage 2B, followed by 22 weeks of chemotherapy. I also had implants put in in 2015. THis week the right breast tissue, underneath the breast, is tender and it also hurts when I breathe in. I just met with my oncologist on Tuesday and got the all clear but I am still worried about this. This morning there is a little pink patch (not a rash) on the bottom, but not near the pain. Has anyone heard of this? Can you get IBC after "regular" cancer?

Jen, sorry to hear you're worried but if your Onc gave the all clear it's likely this is something not serious. If you're on Facebook please post your question there as our private group there is far busier than our main site here.
