Sadie, your right. My Chemo is in the Drs office .Recliners,snacks,movies.Magazines.Talking with others.Pillows and blankets.Free samples of suppliments and candy.Windows and sunshine.A portion where people can sleep and listen to music.Another where people can talk and have a good time. They even have trivial pursuit games. Its a life place. And a big sign that says Never, Never, Never Give Up.

Jill,
That is our mantra. We just keep going and going. I count each day as a gift. I'll be holding babies this weekend, new little lives. I still have a trip to the beach on my agenda. I hope you get to have a wonderful weekend. Keep celebrating!!! Never give up!

Warmly,
Sadie

Hi Penny,  I hope you are doing fine after your first treatment.  My only advice is to drink lots and lots of water and if you got a neulasta shot(Builds up white cells) start taking advil, aleve or something.  For many of us the neulasta caused muscle spasms similar to childbirth. I had my treatments on a Tuesday and on the first Sunday after treatment  I got the spasms.  The oncologist said of course that is common but failed to tell me.  He is one of the world's best so go figure.
Keep us posted.

Hi Coco,

How have you been feeling since you finished treatment?  It seems like just the other day you posted for the first time and now you have completed your chemotherapy.

Hope you are on the road to recovery.

Warmly,
Sadie

Hi all. Finally got my path report and looks like I'm a triple negative too (ER neg, Her2 neg and PR weakly pos with 1-5% staining which most places consider negative). Also my IDC is aggressive with a 3/3 on histologic grade-- Ki67 at 60-70% over-expressed and p53 at 90% over-expressed. So chemo here I come .

My first oncology visit is this Friday, but I have an ob/gyn appt tomorrow because my pap came back abnormal last week and I have a cervical polyp. Wish me luck!

Karen,

Just wanted you to know I am thinking about you tonight.  I am glad you are posting here during this difficult time.  When you meet with your oncologist I hope it will help because you will know what path you are going to take.

Keep posting.

Warmly,
Saide
