Kari - twenty years... congratulations! Molly, this is a very difficult time but you have to remember that every person and every case is different. I would have to agree that you need to do everything possible, and if it means having chemo then you will get through it. I cannot imagine what having a baby at the same time would be like, but I am sure that you will find that courage and strength needed for you and your baby. Is it a boy or a girl, do you know? This is such a wonderful time and I hate that this is happening to you...we are all here for you and this place and these friends here have saved me on more than one occasion. My thoughts and prayers are with you...

I am new here. Just had mastectomy 2 weeks ago. They also removed 18 lymph nodes which 5 were cancerous. Start chemo may 5th.
I am married and have 2 adult kiddos at home. 1 who lives miles away. Been a scary road to travel. Chemo and radiation sound awful. But I am ready to take on the war.

Hi everybody! My name's Mike and I've lost a number of family members and loved ones to cancer, specifically breast cancer, and with someone close to me just recently being diagnosed, I wanted to join the board to become as familiar with everything as possible so I can be of as much help to them as possible. For those currently battling breast cancer, my prayers are with you!

Thank you for the warm greeting Tricia. I'm assuming the dedicated Breast Cancer thread would be best to hear some people's opinions on treatments they've underwent?

I was dx on March 31st, 2014. At first it was stage 1 IDC, now it is 2b with 2/3 positive nodes so back in I go for a mastectomy on Tuesday. I am ER PR+ and HER2-. I had a PET Scan on Monday and my MO believed she would have the results by today. I'm shaking in my boots that it has spread. I can't take all these "test results" because so far none of it has been actually good news!

Thank you Tricia  - Still no word :(  - I'm finding this message board a little difficult to navigate. Does it not take you right to the latest post when you are logged in?

I find myself having to click on every 10 posts on the bottom and then the > button to go to the next 10 posts. I don't see anyway to go to the newest post.

Thanks
