I know this may sound trivial... but today I just could not deal with my nails anymore... I called my nail tech and had my acrylics put back on !!!  For me, when I started chemo and had to have them removed was awful. I rely on them so much not just because they look good but because they allow me to do alot of things without worry that I will break a nail. I do dishes, groom dogs, do my housework etc. I do not keep them long and they look natural.
YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this gave me joy today !!!!! sometimes it really is the little things in life. Last week it was the biggie.... a good mamo and us !!!!!!!!!!!!!

My joy is having my entire family together for the first time in about 5 years.  It is wonderful to have them.  I love them all so much and feel such pride in what good men and fathers they are and what wonderful women they married.  My parents are even coming, so I will have my Dad for Father's Day.

We need some posts !!!

Last night my hubby and I had a wonderful dinner with our 2 sons down at the beach. This is the first time we have been together as a family in over 2.5 yrs. Oldest son's fiance and her mom (bc survivor) and brother joined us.
We ate outside  on the deck, enjoyed a fabulous ocean breeze and had a great time.
It is so good to see my sons together again.

Grace, that sounds lovely:)

i walk on the beach five minutes frommy home daily, and feel so fortunate to have reached five years out:)

However, I'm saddened by thinking of those brave Angels I knew here who passed, but feel they are with me and close by:) x

Today I am thankful for the blessings of a family that loves and cares for me--a mom, who has dropped everything to be here for us on a daily basis, a husband of 16 years, who tells me my new haircut makes him feel like he has  his teenage sweetheart back, and three daughters who choose alone time with mommy over Disney channel time! Life is good.
