First I want to thank all the people on this site who have kept me sane throughout this entire BC process.   I feel as though we all go through each step physically, our friends and family get are there for us, but this site as helped me mentally and through the stress of it all.   After each surgery there really wasn't a place I could go and talk anytime I needed to - but fortunately found this site and everyone is always here for me!

A year ago I began the whole BC process - and today I am celebrating my birthday and for what I have gone through- and cannot tell you grateful I am to everyone!!!! Thank you for being there for me!!!!

L&P,

Happy Birthday!!!!!! You are right each birthday now seems like it should be like a 2 year old's celebration.....jumping house, pony rides and lots and lots of cake and ice cream!!! If nothing else, this disease reminds us to celebrate each and every day.....and especially those  days that remind us we have made it another year.

Hope you get to celebrate, dance in the street, and know your sisters here are dancing with you!!!  Have a great day!!!

Like you others I am so grateful for this forum and all of the friends I have met here.  I know that I can come here and will be understood.  We don't always agree but always understand the fears, worry and anxiety we all feel at one time or another.  It is also a place to come to celebrate the days our families don't remember, the day of dx, surgery day, first and last day of rad's. It may not be worth remembering to them but to us they are big days!

Happy Birthday Pink!

Hope and strength,
Julie S

So much I could say today.  I found a letter my hubby wrote me during treatment and in reading it again I know that my soulmate of 35 years is the pillar of my life.

And for any of you that have not heard me blasting it all over FB and beyond, my youngest daughter is expecting twins!!

Jean - that is AWESOME news!   Congratulations!  Will these be your first grandchildren?  Sharon, I have lantana out in the front of my house and the butterflies just love that.  It is mesmerizing to watch them..they truly are one of the most beautiful creatures.    ThinkPink - congrats to you as well...lots of good news today.

Congratulations Jean!  My kids are twins (boy/girl) and it was the happiest, most tiring experience of my life!  LOL  What joy to wake up with TWO babies each morning -- it felt like Christmas every day.  Wish I could go back in time.

Hug,
Elaine

I am happily sitting in my living room with my family after the most strenous physical activity I have ever done.   Half Dome has been conquered.  It was the hardest physical  thing I have ever done.

Jean: Congrats to you on the twins...

Thinkpink:  HAPPY BIRTHDAY a day late....
