My mom walked about 15 feet today!   It's a start!   It won't be easy, and hope she is up to the challenge that the case manager called tough boot camp

Dear Tricia,

I think you put in your time with Arimidex.  I hope that all will be fine and you will have a great cancer free life.

Tricia, I am very sorry about your cousin.

Sharonma - 15 steps is really wonderful for your mother's first try.  Sometimes AI can raise you cholesterol.

Thank you DJ and I hope so, my Onc said if I get nervous I can call her and go back on it but she feels a break is a good move right now in view of my joint pain getting worse, I was going to begin taking Glucosamine again but she said a break would be better. How are things with you??? are you still on Taxol?? I was thinking of you but know you have a lot on so didn't like to pm you.

Sharon, any more news on your mom's recovery? I hope she's doing well. And how are you--and Tex?

Things here are OK. I'm still coughing from the pneumonia, but not as much and it's more like a throat tickle than a chest cough. I'll have a follow-up chest x-ray sometime in July. I'm looking forward to feeling well again. It's been a lousy year for illness.

I have no travel plans until September, when David and I renting a house in Healdsburg--a small town in Sonoma wine country. We don't tour wineries, but we love the hotter weather (for a week, anyway), and the house has a pool, so we will RELAX! I may go to my sister's in Southern California in August--not sure yet. My oldest sister, Anne, will turn 75 in August, and I'll turn 65, so we thought it would be nice for the four siblings to gather at my sister Linda's house. We're waiting to hear from my brother whether he and his wife will be able to come. We so rarely are able to all get together. I can hardly believe our ages: 76, 75, 69 and 65. I remember when my mother and her siblings were that old--boy did they seem old to me! Life is funny.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer (no tornadoes or hurricanes, I hope!)
