OMG, Karen, what a horrible day!  I would have freaked - now you have to wait until after the holiday until they read them!  I'm so sorry you had to go through that.  Ned, Ned B9 B9!!  Be Karen's BFF!  Sending you good thoughts. BTW, vit K counteracts coumadin (warfarin) so check out your supplements.

Karen - this really sucks!  I am so sorry that you have to go through this...it seems that we have a string of issues, get one resloved and another pops up!  I am headed off to church to pray they call you and tell you ALL IS WELL and whatever they see is one of those normal bumps in our heads!   Wasn't there a time when they thought that the more bumps you had the smarter you were?

Thanks everyone!  I was at the cancer center today getting my Arixtra shot...there was a small group of us there.  The topic of conversation was about how thankful we are for our wonderful local cancer center...how nice everyone is, how convenient, etc., etc.  Considering that people were there for Neulasta, Arixtra, etc on a beautiful Sunday morning....it was nice to be with a group of positive people!  In the midst of all of this treatment, to find things to be happy about---I wish some of the grumpy ppl in stores, traffic, etc....could have just a peak at this little group.  I guess that is one benefit of going through something like this...you find blessings in many little things.

It is great that you have a supportive place.  I agree, sometimes people are grumpy about little things.  My mom would say - if that is your biggest problem, then you're lucky!

Hoping for the scan results tomorrow or Wed....

Had bloodwork done today (yes, on the holiday!).  My blood doesn't seem to be responding to the Arixtra shots and Coumadin...so they increased the dosage.

Back to the center tomorrow after the "first day of school" to repeat bloodwork...and meet with PA.

I was at the cancer center today...still dealing with my "numbers", Coumadin, and my blood clot.  My onc was not in today...I met with the PA.  I asked about the scans.  He said the doctor had read the CT scans and had noted that all was good.  The bone scans are in...but the doctor won't look at them until tomorrow.  He did tell me that there were some spots on the skull and shoulder area that the radioligist indicated as "calcifications".  He told me that this is often the case...and it did not look worrisome.  I will feel better when those words come from the mouth of the oncologist!!!  :)

Yes, you should take that as really good news Karen, it sounds good! I know he wouldn't have muttered a word in that direction if he felt otherwise about your results. So sorry though that you must still wait here a little while longer for your Onc to confirm...ugh! We are waiting here with you! (((HUGS)))!P.S.
