Well, that sounds like no fun! Used to get checked for ticks after camping trips when I was a kid. Seems like there was some "old wives tale" type of things to get them out. Do dogs get bothered by the ticks as well?? Hope you escape the ticks from now on!

YUCK, Sharon!  I hate ticks!  We had a real problem with the dogs a year or so ago....didn't think they had them in Florida but, boy, was I wrong!  I found this thing I thought was a little pebble on the bed one night, turned out to be a tick that was so swollen it fell off the darn dog!!!  The vet gave us this little plastic tool that pulls them right off...when I was younger my mom used to put nail polish on them and they would pull their little legs right out....now I have to go and take a shower!!!!!

Sorry, I know I have been gone for quite awhile!  There were just to many emotional issues going on this fall and still are.  I think of you all but just use most of my energy on checking email and facebook.  I miss all of you and the friendship here but just can't post what has been happening here right now.  I can keep it lighter on facebook and do.  Sorry!!!!!!
