Sharon I think Sue M lived in Naperville but Cathy (Who always visited Sue on our behalf) is on FB and could give you lots of info and advice as she lives there too.

I'll check for you, Sharon. I grew up on the northwest side of Chicago and moved out of there 20 years ago. Still go back to visit friends. Will put feelers out for you.

My youngest daughter and granddaughter are coming for a 6 week visit from France!  They will arrive Sunday evening.  Been a rough year and I am glad they are coming.  Much has to be left unsaid.  But for now I am so looking forward to it.  At least they get to visit.  Evangeline is 3 now and her French is becoming fluent with some English thrown in there.  Imagine she will pick up alot on her English while here.  We had snow off and on this past week and then we had rain today and snow again tomorrow!!  What crazy weather!!!

Rose enjoy the visit. You have had it rough this past year.  I have learned not to give my advice or opinion unless asked. Things seem to work out better this way.  I just let my kids know that I am always here for them if they need me.  To be honest parenting is a very tough job.  My mother swears the rewards will follow later in life but I remain skeptical:)

I survived the new port-a-cath and my first treatment of Taxol.  I have taken a few days off for now though I do expect to retire very soon.  Fatigue to be expected and it's part of my life with all my meds, shortness of breath (disease and side effect) but that is all.  No nausea, no vomiting (due to the pills that work this time).  Doing OK.

Best,

DJ
