Hello Everyone,
I haven't posted in a long time.  It feels good to come back and read the new posts and to see some old familiar names.  I noticed people were posting how long it had been since their diagnosis.  I was diagnosed in late 2003, but I count my years out from the end of my treatment which was in .  I am either close to 10 years out or a little over 8 years out.

I have gotten to enjoy so much since my treatment.  My two sons got married, my daughter had twin baby girls and my oldest son also had a baby girl 6 months ago.  I just had a mammogram and all seems well.  My oncologist wants me to have an MRI in November though.  I think she is just very cautious.

Tonight I am getting to sit by the southern Oregon Coast and listen to the waves hitting the sea shore.  It is 8:15 pm and still light outside.  I love the long days.

Hope you are all doing well and looking forward to summer.

Warmly,
Sadie Rose

I'm still here and enjoying every minute! I now have another grandson, seven months old, and my other darling will be 12 in September. So I have a lot more living to do. Best wishes to all of us.

Sadie and Nuzzy, I hope to see you both when we get to Eugene on August 1. If it doesn't happen then I'll phone you both for a long hello talk. I am doing okay. I have surgery scheduled for mid-October to remove ovaries and tubes;and hopefully nothing more. Take care all, Gail

Gail, I did not recognize your picture. When we met a few years back your hair was shorter. Also, I believe you changed your "signature". I suppose the CT stands for Connecticut. Right?

I'M BAAACK  LOL  I was here 3 yrs ago and I am back again with stage IV cancer this time  I was diagnosed 14 yrs ago with triple negative BRCA positive breast cancer. Two mastectomys and lots of chemo and radiation later I am making my last stand. Dr appt today was a bummer, we are running out of chemo options. First time in 14 yrs that I actually feel a little depressed and that my life will be ending long before I was ready. But none of us are promised a tomorrow right? We just come to expect it. Feeling a little alone today I guess and came looking for my sisters in the fight.

Dear 101, It is sad to read your post. I hope you have a support system that is helping you through your trial. It is disheartening to know that you have done all that could be done and still it was not enough.*******You are being so brave in reaching out to all of us here. I hope you have found joy during the past 14 years and find peace in however many days lie ahead.

Hi, please give us your name so we can chat properly, I'm so sorry you've been dx with stage iv, what chemo have you done so far? there's usually still lots of options in new drugs and clinical trials etc. ...I'm sorry you feel sad today but its hardly surprising and please know we are all here for you. (((((hugs)))))
