and we are for you, Tricia!  All of these special events have extra meaning and value to us, don't you think?  I try NEVER to take anything for granted anymore....when I come over the causeway to Clearwater Beach on my way home from work, I stop at the top and look around me, and thank God for what I see and that I am here to see it.  Of course, some people beep their horns at me but I don't care...

Pat, thats too funny!  Can you imagine the !#%&*#! coming from the other cars as you are stopped on the bridge smelling the roses??  Btw, if Harry Connick was in my neighborhood, I'd set up my lawn chair with binoculars...mmmmm

Looking at pictures in 3D of my daughters twins in vitro that she had done this morning.  Big Bob and Li'l Bill as they are nicknamed for now, are growing and doing well.  She is 25 weeks now.

Jean - that must be the best feeling in the world, don't you think?  To look at that new life, you realize just how true are the words of Emily Dickinson in your signature.  We are all so blessed!

Sharon -  I never saw one movie star this entire time!  I did hear that Ashley Judd was spotted in Publix but not sure if that is true or not. Kris Kristofferson (yes, he is still alive!) was also here - he plays Harry Connick Jr's father in the movie.   And their trailers are parked in our church parking lot...voting was a nightmare because that is where our machines are!!

My daughter's boss nicknamed them Bob and Bill because she couldn't keep Baby A and Baby B straight in her mind.  They added the big and li'l thing since one has been bigger than the other since the beginning.  Although there is only an ounce separating them now.  No, these names are sudo names and the real names are to be announced at birth.  But until then I know it has been fun to call them something rather than A and B!! Thanks all!

On Tuesday I received an official email from the US Army requesting my presence at the change of command for the New York City Recruiting Battalion Bronx Recruiting Company for the change of command to Captain Michael J Carter. (my son)  I am so excited, I wish I was able to fly up for the ceremony. This is a pretty huge deal.
Also, my youngest has his flight booked and will be home on the 19th. YAHOOOOOO

Christmas morning 4:30am -- grandkids up to check out what Santa brought!  We opened our presents last night, but the 'big' one is what Santa brings.

What a joy!  Who cares about sleep?  HA HA

Merry Christmas, all. Elaine, 4:30! Karen is such a deep sleeper that even when she was little, we'd have to wait for her to wake up! We got back from a lovely, relaxing vacation late last night. It's great to be home and to have our daughter here. In just a few months, she'll be moving to South Korea for a year, so having her home for a few more days means the world to me. Boy, they grow up fast! I hope that everyone is having a happy day.

Happy Christmas everyone!!!:)

It's 8.30pm here now and I'm grateful to have managed to get to spend the day with my daughters in Dublin, despite the treacherous driving conditions and weather.....we had a lovely few hours together but had to cut it short to make the journey back in the car which was'nt easy but thankfully we arrived home safely:)  xx

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

I thought this was beautiful and inspiring so wanted to share it with my sisters here.  Hope you all had a some smiles and laughs today and made lots of  wonderful memories.
