Hi Pat, it was so nice to talk to you.  I missed you.  I hope that Rose is ok.  How long has it been since any of you have talked to her? 
Diag. Oct 2003 with 6mm mass, IDC grade III ductal carcinoma in-situ, Inflammatory Breast Cancer stage IIIB, Her2+++.   I had A/C followed by Taxotere (only had 2tx as I had heart problems from it); Left Mastectomy followed by 35 rads.  Recurence in 9 months as skin mets to mast. site. tx Carboplatin/Herceptin,  stayed on Herceptin every other week for almost 4 years only stopping when my ejection fraction would get too low. off herceptin & ned 3 years in 2010

uggh, what a morning.  I found a tick imbedded in my scalp, with just it's little legs sticking out (gross I know).  My friend tried to remove it without success, it was really in there.  My doc was booked so I went to a walk in med clinic and the doc literally dug it out with tweezers, sans numbing agent.  you know the words I was saying under my breath!$#&*(!. 
I did have a lyme titer done just last week that was negative (had 2 deer ticks in the last 2 months).  Guess that's what that daily walk in the woods with Tex costs.

Sharonma! That's gross and scary!!  Glad it's out.  Will you have another tick test?  Lymes disease is not fun and can have long term unaccepted affects.  Oy!
