Sue K ~ hope you are doing ok.  Just checking in on you.
  Grace-  how are you?

I have been off work for 4 days and have been doing some Spring yard work.  I finally went to a movie this evening and treated myself to a nice dinner out also.  Back to work tomorrow!!!

Dont know if this is the place to post a !$%&*!

woke up to the sound of the unmistakable dog barfing , kind of like an "urp, urp", just before the agggghhh. unfortuately that was the last one that I heard...., not the first
Tex decided to puke in the upsatirs hall, kitchen, dining room (hardwood). In addition to the family room(rug) and just for extra measure, he pooped diarrhea and threw up in the basement(hardwood AND rug).

If anyone lives in the tristate area, you can hear me cursing and almost crying.

Car repairs totaling $1100....ugh.   But it was so nice to have a "normal" worry.  Grateful for my car and for being alive:)  Life does go on.

Poor Texas...he must have felt awful to make that big of a mess!! Don't know why animals have to puke in every room in the house...especially where there is carpet! Sounds like a full day of work for you...hoping Texas is feeling better.................................................. Annette, Car repairs are crazy expensive but we do need our cars so what are we going to do? It is nice though to have a "normal" worry however if it is on top of bc worries it just adds to the stress. At least you know your car is in good running order.

More car repairs today:(  On a brighter note....hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day.  Anyone interested in planning a trip/cruise to Alaska to see the Northern lights?  I can't go for about 2 years due to daughters wedding.  I need to save money and see if I am still employed...my unit may close early next year.  However Life Goes ON and I want to do something on my bucket list before I get too old or God forbid...sick.  Who knows what the next 24 months will bring but it would sure be fun to plan a trip....even if we never get to actually go:)  Also there are 13 men to every women in Alaska....think of the fun we could have!

Annette:

I have been talking about an Alaska trip for a long time. Not sure about the cruise though since my last cruise with the ex-boyfriend was a trip from HELL! That's a long story in itself.

I know about the men to women ratio as my dear sister and her mother in law took the liberty to point that out to me many years ago.  My sister worked close to home so she would go home for lunch.  During  lunch she and her mother in law would watch a talk show and one day they had the men from Alaska who were looking for brides.  Suddenly I started getting mail from Alaska and from the wilderness territory and couldn't figure out why.  Turned out those two deviates signed me up.  They were trying to get me married off.

I know many of the "oldies" don't post here anymore, but some of us remember Monique.  She is having a very difficult time and is in the hospital.  Please, keep her in your thoughts and prayers, and hope a miracle comes to her.

Rose,
Thank you so much for posting. I just wandered on the site. I miss all of you!! I am feeling overwhelmed. I will be hitting my  5 year anniversary for the diagnosis in the Fall 2012. Lots of things have gone on in the past 5 years but I feel like I am going through the motions at times. I was really questioning my sanity. Thank you for validating that this may be normal. hugs to everyone.

Hi ladies,

Everything fairly well here.  I just wanted to say that I HATE MY OLD LADY HAIR!!!!!

Had my 12 y/o grandson over this w/e and he told me I'm pretty (ahhhh!) but that I was prettier before (blond & straight hair).

Do the curls ever go away or, do I have to get it straightened?

Glad to be back in touch.  I don't know why I stay away so long.
